G-fan

I'm a super "G" fan. I made it to all seven home games this year and even traveled to Tuscaloosa for the game against Bama. I watched the dawgs put a hurting on most teams, except Tennessee. Glad I didn't have to witness that one in person. Here I on Samford Drive right by the stadium. "Sic 'em!"

Sword fighting

So, what do you do with a girlfriend at this age? You sword fight! The clown at Tatum's sister's party blew us up some cool balloons. I talked Tatum into grabbing a sword and promptly took advantage of her naivete. In this pic she's not looking too pleased even as she lands a good one again my skull.

My first girlfriend

Based on the reports my teachers tell my mom and dad, Tatum pretty much qualifies as my first girlfriend. We spend a lot of time together and I was even overheard saying something to her like, "Hi honey. How was your day?" I don't really remember saying that, but I guess it is true. As dad says, I'm a living, breathing, walking tape recorder.

In this picture, we are sharing cupcake cones at her sister's birthday party. And having a darn good time.

Able to eat handfuls of candy in a single gulp!

No need to fear, Repp is here!
That's me, in the bottom left-hand corner, next to the policeman. As evident from my previous post, I was Superman for Halloween. See my big muscles?
I'm seen here with other kids that belong to Dad's colleagues. We get together and procure a big haul from the people in Dad's program.

It's SUPERMAN!

Look at me... I'm the big-boy of steel!

See me enjoying the Halloween holiday as Superman. (Thank you, Andrew, for the hand-me-down.) Truthfully, it's okay being Superman, but I'd rather be Batman. I've told my folks that many times, especially when we go to "Toys-that-R-Us," but they smile and say how much fun I'll have as the "S" guy.

Happy Halloween everyone!

Go Braves!

Oh wait, they aren't in the playoffs this year. Neither are the Cardinals; Mom's favorite team. And neither are the Yankees; Dad's God-forsaken favorite. Guess I'll root for the Rockies though I know Boston is going to cream them.

We did catch some Braves games in 2007. Here we are in August when it was really, really hot. I did okay, mostly conserving my energy by having Dad tote me around on his shoulder. He says that he's happy to help now but that it'll contribute to his use of a "walker" by the time I graduate from high school -- not that there is anything wrong with a walker. Like most American's, I'm pretty much focused on the here-and-now.

Please join us for a Braves game. We usually have a great time though Mom and Dad experience conflict over their versions of the baseball experience. Mom likes to go to her seats and eat dogs and peanuts. Dad prefers to hit the Chop Shop for nachos and beers. Granny Reichert joined us this summer for a Chop Shop experience and we had a lot of fun. She kept striking up a conversation with a family from Augusta with a son/husband in Iraq. Dad doesn't mind watching the game on the monitor. Psstt.... He's not a true baseball lover though he did win one of his fantasy leagues this year.

We'll see you next season when the Braves get rid of Andrew Jones. Join us for a game.

Me and my posse

Here we are catching a breather in the final days of summer. Meet my "Young Toddler" class. When this was taken we were winding down the year and getting ready for the "Older Toddler" class that began in August. Everyone made the transition and we've added four newbies.
We're all growing fast. Everyday someone is doing a new trick or telling us a really funny story about his or her folks. Don't be mistaken; we compare notes about your parenting styles. Cross one of us and you'll need to tread lightly around here. Think that Nicky tossed that dinosaur by accident?

Watch out Adam Morrison

Beware of my long-range jumper. In or out of my diaper, I can swoosh a 3-pointer from just about anywhere in the living room. Sit down! This is MY HOUSE... On second thought, maybe soccer is my sport.

Giants game

Here I am waiting my turn to hit one out like Barry Bonds. Summer 2006 (notice the ninny) we went to the Giants game in San Francisco. I think they won, but I was more interested in the play area for kids. I did get a few pitches and a chance to field a few balls. Maybe the Braves will get something going as cool as the Giants. There was one little boy trying to butt in front of me. Dad was on the scene.

Boo and the Bear

Here I am paying my respects to Paul Bear Bryant. Although I may be wearing a "G" on my chest, I haven't forgotten from whence I came. I was born in T-town three years ago and it will always be part of who I am. I guess the sooner I learn to spell Tuscaloosa, the better off I'll be.

I met the Bear back in April 2007 when dad and mom were in town seeing their tax guy. We had a chance to walk along the prominade... very beautiful. I'll get a chance to visit him and all my friends very soon when we venture into T-town to catch the UA-UGA game. Looking forward to it, but not sure who I'm going to root for.
