Graduation day

Yep, if you've been to my brother's website, you know I graduated today. Moving up from "older toddler" class to the newly created "3-4 year old" class. Going to be hanging with some older boys and girls. Mr. Philip is my new lead teacher. He seems cool and my classroom will be much bigger. But... I definitely will miss my teachers, Ms. Saundra, Ms. Dina, and Ms. Tricia, and all my peeps. As you can see, I'm pretty torn up about it. Had to have mom read me a story to refocus my energies.

Watching fireworks

Man, July 4th is a kid's dream come true. Watermelon. Cheeseburgers. Swimming. Hanging with peeps. And fireworks! Got to see them up close at the Frick's house this year. See me with Mel, Zack, and Colin. Dad got to light a couple of smoke bombs. Um, mom says that dad doesn't need a match to explode smoke bombs around the house. Not sure what that means just yet. Also got to visit with Grandma and Papa over the holiday. Pics to come. Keep in touch.

America's Most Wanted

Yes, we are very much "wanted" and loved. Hopefully none of us will become that kind of "wanted." Here is are my wonderful school buddies from this year. We've had a great time. How they got all of us to be still to take this picture, I'll never know.

We appreciate our great teachers; Ms. Dina, Mrs. Saundra, and Ms. Trisha. They've taught be lots of stuff this year, like hitting a baseball, appreciating books, manners, everything that's involved with camping, etc. I'm going to be moving into the 3-4-year-old class in August. Some of us will with staying in the 3-year-old class.

School pictures are in

Hey everybody, isn't life grand? All is good. I'm loving life as you can tell from my happy face. This is my school pic from Spring 08 (grandparents should expect to receive one in the mail before too long). Hope to see everyone soon. Just swimming, reading books, going to the movies with Dad, looking at dead snakes, and squishing ants.

Pele, watch out!

Here I am accepting the end-0f-season trophy from my soccer coach Scott Reynolds. He was a great coach. He actually coaxed me onto the field so I could push everyone over in my pursuit for the ball. I kicked one goal this year; well, one for our team and one for the other team. It was a great learning experience and we'll get it going again next season.

My baby bro

My little brother, Hinton, is turning five months old in a few days. Can you believe how late I am posting a picture of us the day after he was born. Here we are with mom. Nothing like a boy's love for his momma.

I really don't think too much about Hinton's age or Hinton for that matter. But I do know that my birthday is in September. And that I will be this old (holding up four fingers).

Snakes on campus!

Last week we took a field trip to see some really cool animals. Mr. Matt captured a couple shots of me snake-handling. In one pic I have a baby python and in the other pic I'm holding a corn snake. Mr. Matt said I was all over the baby alligator. Lots of other creepy crawly animals as well. Fun!

Chased by a big scary hand!

Here I am helping Mel escape from a big mean scary hand that was chasing us. You can see it when it appears on the screen. It belongs to Steve, Mel's dad. We're making the loop on one of the two-kid trikes at school. Lots of fun. Life is good and I'm living large.

Checking out Winterville's Fire Truck

Here I am checking out the Winterville fire truck! It was very cool. I even got to go for a ride around the square. My teacher's husband is the fire chief and me and Mer, Little John, BB, and Lauren got a special invite to visit the station. The truck holds 1000 gallons of water. When the big hose is running full tilt, the truck will run through it's water in 1 1/2 minutes. Amazing.

Dad got to shoot one of the smaller hoses. It amost knocked him off his feet.
